This WordPress site was built with a large library of custom blocks and components - about sixty altogether - and using Tailwind and a selection of plugins where they added value. The biggest challenge was displaying a huge amount of program information in a way that was easy to explore and digest. This was particularly true when it came to the program overview page, for which I built a set of filters utilizing custom post taxonomies, and custom program tiles that could expand on demand and rearrange themselves to make room.

The goal was to build a dynamic, visually engaging site showcasing the design details that go into the construction of Arc'teryx's products. Using React and a variety of custom components, I built scroll-driven effects, image collages, carousels, and parallax effects to keep users engaged while showing off high-quality imagery. The result was a site delivered on a tight deadline, and a client that came back to us for further work.

A custom WordPress site built around the Estatik real estate plugin, featuring a searchable database of listings.

The main challenge with this project was reconciling the client's preferred design with a plugin that provided the functionality the site needed. I spent time digging into the Estatik plugin, and wrote custom PHP, CSS, and JavaScript to reshape its native output to match the design. The result is a stylish, effective site that balances form and function.
